The movement in the standard BB isn’t very old. Whether it’s actually better than the 2824-2 it used to have is debatable too...
They’re nice watches, I like them but can’t get past the thickness, the Arial issue and the mix of dot markers with snowflake hands. The flank is completely disproportionate and the standard model doesn’t have the comfort scallop that the GMT has.
Having said that, the blue bezel one is the best looking watch in the whole BB family for me.
BB58 is the perfect size but I didn’t really vibe with it when I checked it out. Dunno why.
