• i disagree, in my experaince around 68/69 is nice for long distance adventuring on multi surface for a hardtail.

I have 67 on my full sus and it's okay but I prefer the sharper steering for non proper mtb.

he won't actually ride any mtb, he's just a soft aussie who wants suspension for his little soft hands

  • I guess the question is what does the good sir mean by “adventuring”. Back garden adventuring for the simple folk like myself on a bike that you also want to point downhill fast.
Or actual adventuring that you and hippy like to get up to?

  • Like, I want it to ride stuff that my gravel bike is trying to kill me on.

With a longer term view to do stuff like some of the "Divide" rides. It needs to work for weekend gnar and off-road ultras. Hence no dual-suss losing me all that triangle space.
