How could you have a 28mm wide bike with gears?

Sounds quite mad; "I'm not going for the traditional derailleur design, it will be internal in the frame. The rear fork will have the derailleur hidden inside, so you won't have this big derailleur hanging to the side. Then the front derailleur will be inside the frame also."

Looks mental in a good way i think. Probably very fast in a wind tunnel at zero yaw. I'm sure that 5 year old will be doing a roast on this soon đŹ
His shoes are very cool though so i expect he'll make a crazy helmet to complete the look. Like Brian walker used to.

I presume they mean frame, if they mean the whole hog then
drive or something else equally daft would remove the need for a cassette.
Maybe he steam-rolled a Pinion.

I would love to be able to make shoes like that - custom fitted to my stupid monster feet and midfoot with no bullshit limitations on sole design, etc.

You missed the bit about custom. Mmm custom.

Custom anything is cool really. unfortunately my custom budget only stretches to stickers at the moment đ
Adam Hansens GCN video about how he makes those shoes is very interesting. Not a DIY tutorial though but I'm surprised someone isn't making clip on aero shoe fairings in a simplified way of the shoes for non UCI stuff. -

That jockey wheel cage.

Seems entirely in-keeping. TT bikes are obnoxious.
-

Yeah, mine is fugly. I don't care though - I don't look at it when I'm riding it.
I'm sure like most TTers the only thing I care about is the time on the clock. If making it uglier makes it faster so be it.

In his latest vlog Dowsett appeared to be saying that Tao was wearing a textured base layer under the official âwhite jerseyâ skinsuit? Is this true and was it really for the aero gains? Looking at photos on my phone I canât see anything that looks like an textured base layer, but maybe Iâm looking at the wrong photos?

The new Rapha x Rab C Nesbitt baselayer? 2W gains for only ÂŁ300

Aero rib bones?

This is the video, skip to 4:55 for mention of the under layer: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-V3rKHVMz5E&feature=youtu.be
I donât see anything in those pictures either but maybe itâs super sneaky or Dowsett is plain wrong.

Didn't we do this months ago?
-
• #2645
Didnât see the previous discussion (I avoided that thread during the giro). Still canât find any pics that appear to show the magic base layer though.

I think it was on twitter at the time. Not sure if it was posted to that thread.

Anyone tried the Pro Pursuit bars yet?
Narrow (down to 36cm) flared drops, long reach (101mm - 105mm), aero top section, swept.Thinking of getting some, partly because the swept forward bars will give me a bit more knee clearance. With narrower bars, the bar ends are perfectly aligned with my knees.

Anyone tried the Pro Pursuit bars yet?
Anyone even got them? Doesn't look like the 36cm is even in production yet, everybody is saying August as the earliest delivery.

X-Post from my T3 thread, regarding https://cyclingtips.com/2021/05/uci-bans-aerocoach-front-hub-fairing-used-by-ganna-in-giro-tt/ :
We have CFD data on the end caps - it's not loads but we did measure it!
Do I spy trips on the new UCI-legal (for nowđ) end caps?
