I also have a Samsung washer & dryer - app is great as they live in the garage. Just wait until the push notification to change over or get the washing.
The washer auto-doses the detergent / softener which takes all the hassle out of putting washing on and they connect to each other so the tumble dryer automatically sets the programme based on the load of washing that was just finished.
Heatpump in the dryer is super efficient. Currently using around 20kWh (£2.50 of electricity) a month.
