That's a shame but on the plus side does that mean you'll have a chunk of cash to spend on a different new bass now? That's always a nice feeling!

Very true! I think I'm actually going to spend it on a drum kit believe it or not (I'm eyeing up a Sonor AQ1 Stage kit and some Istanbul Agop cymbals) and I'll keep my eye open for a really nice Ibanez Roadstar bass (80s Ibanez version of a Precision) in the meantime, they tend to pop up for around €350-500 but they're supposed to be a fantastic Precision which is kind of what I was ultimately wanting anyway!

Yeah I feel you, he's a decent guy (we actually ascertained that we have a mutual friend and have most likely been on a night out together in Dublin when he visited years ago) but like most creatives often are he's just a bit shit at running his business and being organised... I honestly wouldn't rule out placing an order with him again in the future if it looks like he's gotten on top of the whole thing but until then I'm good.

What a faff but the lack of communication just got the better of me finally. Fingers crossed he's quicker about refunding my money than he is about replying to emails.
