Anyone around when the Jungle was massive in the UK?

Will do that mix after another digital mix I started organising last night. Mostly brand new stuff, and most of which is Trace. Seems absolutely on another level to everything else I’m hearing right now. I mean check the drop on this... simple, but just too god damn groovy.

And finally, I recorded a vinyl mix of 02-04 drum and bass. This is going to be a bit of an acquired taste, but interested to hear if anyone likes it (or not). This spans a couple of years towards when I stared to stop buying new stuff because I didn’t like it. Clownstep was taking off and a lot of the dark and heavy stuff sounded silly and juvenile. There are plenty of tracks off the EPs that some of these tracks came from that sound like absolute hilarious garbage, hence most of the records go for £2-£3 on ‘cogs. That being said, these tracks represent some of the cream as far as I’m concerned. Spot the Trace tune in there, and Keaton was putting out some of the best stuff at that time. It starts off more steppy, then it gets trancey before getting ameny and darker.
