If you need a hand my mate owns RR london a range rover specialist .they have done projects like your car.

Cheers - I used to live near RR London as it happens, they always had some lovely bits outside.
The Series One is finished as is though. I've kept the paint as it came out of the weeds, bar some oiling but entirely rebuilt the engine and running gear.

That's nice to have in a car collection I saw your mk2 Gti 16v.very nice car .had one back in the day. I work for VW .Which audi does your mate work for I might know the VAG network is very close
