speedvagan is the Americans answer to English cycles
-

Speedvagen are one of my favourite framebuilders. They create such good looking bikes, unlike English.

Can you not post stuff like this. It's so annoying when I like it.

That thing is so stupid, the MAGA version of the Canyon commuter. Too bad that patriotism doesn't buy you functionality.

$7500 for a hybrid.
With cable discs...

Artisanal cable discs made in US and A tho...
All in a stunning shade of ‘tactical 8chan green’.

Absolutely cannot believe he’s representing my home town like this, won’t be speaking to him at the school fete

i mean speedvagen is in portland and the demographics of speedvagen buyers could not be more not maga. in fact there is probably almost no overlap between owns 'maga hat' and 'rides bikes on road for recreation'.
however, i feel like the cable disc is indicative of a particular brand of left wing fashion bike rider. the crust bikes 'party pace' people. instead you will see 'acab' and 'this machine kills fascists' stickers.

Aesthetically lovely, financially comedic. You can create that look for a lot less...

There is an absolutely vast amount of right wing recreational cyclists in ever discipline except BMX.
-
• #24765
And polo. And tall biking. And maybe ultra endurance unicycling.

right wing recreational cyclists
u wot m8
sort-of hope you're joking but I suspect you're not actually joking
"right wing recreational cyclists", just the sound of that makes me want to puke -

in the us? maybe amongst mtb but roadies are pretty much all non-maga people as far as i can tell.

• #24768
chloe dygart and her fans lol
-
• #24769
her fans are all maga people now? how closeted she is about the whole thing and how owned she was (and simmons) were by rapha/trek goes to my point
-
• #24770
edit, will not be derailing this fine thread

Maybe up in Seattle and down here in LA, but people ride bikes everywhere and lots of America, as you know, is red. Ever been to California's central coast? Loads of cyclists there. A huge amount of Republican's, too. There's undoubtedly some overlap.
-
• #24773
yea i mean some: i just don't think much. i lived in central pa and georgia before. my experience has been that in those places right leaning folks don't ride. their loss riding in ga/pa is dope

👌 I like that - and while I’m here does anyone know if band-on canti brake bosses are a thing?
