1775g?!

https://www.lightbicycle.com/ will come close to these in price but you'll be able to stretch to better hubs/spokes and they'll come in at ~1500g.

Even I know that's no feather weight, should've noticed!

I was mulling over getting a set from ICAN.

I would question their scales, chose what you want, aero or weight weenie, cant have both. Aero will outdo lightweight in the UK.
Lightbicycle is excellent, I have 3 wheelsets from them. There is a way to get some discount too.

I'd say it's reasonable, if the rim is above cheaper offers. My 50c cheapo AliExpress wheels are about 1500gr, better quality carbon rims and you'll be there or thereabouts.

I got these recently for not much over £200, haven’t used them yet but they are cosmetically very clean and tidy, tyres went on easy and they look true and round

What are those? What do they weigh? What tire width are you running there? Rubber looks nicely flush with the rim.

They are by Go-Proe, think these ones (and loads of choice in depth, width etc) although a bit more than I paid https://m.aliexpress.com/item/4000498750847.html?trace=wwwdetail2mobilesitedetail&spm=2114.12010612.8148356.4.25c57c2dJxaO7k
No idea on weight though - I’ll say “not light but not heavy”, certainly not something that’s bothering me.
Tyres are plump 35c

DCR are what Saffron Frameworks recommend for high-end carbon on a budget.
Apparently their own-brand rims are great, and they have a good range of hubs at various price points. -

I'm trying to work out a set through DCR via Venn rims. Sounds like a slightly lighter, slightly cheaper version of Enve Foundation is possible.

They were CN carbon I think. Nothing great, average cheap Chinese carbon.
I'm graduating from SS to roadie, and have just ordered a Specialized Allez Sprint Disc, and across generally very favourable reviews, the stock wheelset seems to be rather so-so (DT Swiss rims, nondescript hubs). I'd be keen to upgrade my wheelset for the summer to something carbon and with a deeper profile, and the Zipp 303s might be just a little too far of a stretch on my budget.
Does anyone know of more modestly priced alternatives, or have a list of arguments long enough to convince me to break the bank on Zipps?
I've found these few alternatives myself, and would love input (do they suck?/would they be worth the upgrade?):
