    You’re correct in general as rear derailleur do that.

    However the jockey wheel did not move at all in the latest Shimano derailleur.

  • Yeah, but what's the point? The shop isn't going to let it go without it being setup right and pointing out something is 'possibly' incorrect after eyeballing a pic on the internet of a bike in a workstand is kinda, actually perfect, given this is the gravel thread. Carry on.
