I wonder what that would look like (and cost) with a stainless crown and bezel and a plain black strap. Or does that only work with a white or silver dial on more vintagy watches?
Always thought the two-tone GMT would look good if you did that. So it's like a SS on, but with gold hands/markers and the green GMT hand.

Yeah older two tone Rolex GMTs (1675/16753) are more or less the same money as steel ones - had considered the same thought.

There’s a few... a lot of them like the Longines and Nomos discounts look a lot like what you’d be aiming for from an AD, but a couple of the Zenith and Omega discounts are quite big. There’s a 41mm two tone/ rose gold Aqua Terra that’s half price, but then it’s a 41mm rose gold Aqua Terra... with a brown dial.
