get a r7000/r8000 GS RD and then a wolf tooth roadlink dm if you need to run a big cassette.

Is the upper pulley wheel not closer to the cassette when you're in the small chain ring? Will it not hit the biggest cog?

Nah, it was fine with mine. Haven't tried since I switched to the Di2 RX mech but assume that'll be fine too
It work big/big and small/small, slightly longer chain and slightly tweaked b/screw.
