  • Another tech request.

Bikeworks has re-porposed its work to offer free delivery of food/meds/testing kits to people from organisations like food banks and pharmacies.
    https://www.bikeworks.org.uk/cycle-delivery

We are doing ok but not being a courier company are struggling with route planning.

We're given, say 20 drops and 20 addresses by a pharmacy.

What is the best/simples app available to enter these postcodes and generate a coherent route?
    Thanks

  • Have a try of this.

It's a bit clunky entering addresses so I favour using the Import option and pasting them in.

I've not tried the cycling option so don't know how well that routing works compared to car but it should give you a good idea.

  • Or just use Google maps (on a desktop is easiest) - add destination, add destination, add destination, etc., and then you can pull them around (up and down the list on the LHS of the screen) until your suggested route looks most sensible/circular etc.

You can even then send that route to a phone to use as navigation.

  • Thanks
I tried Google today, shifting addresses around while wearing latex was messy 😁

  • I really want to do whatever I can to help those who need it but don’t know where to start

  • If anyone needs anything picking up / delivered whilst in isolation or can’t get out just give me a shout, N8 based but happy to ride round to help out.
