  • oooooooooft

    cromovelato ?!

  • Hmmm, Battaglin in da house. Looks a hell of a nice colour.

  • Yeah pink battaglin cromovelato. Looks Great, if i had been mixing i would have made it a tad lighter shade but i havent seen it in the sun yet so think it will give that effect Possibly 🤗

  • Lovely - what's in store for the build?

  • Oh that's nice. Don't breathe on the paint though, you'll damage it.

  • I had it made with threadless steerer so Will look bit more modern.

Also managed to find my favorie group, the super record rs with silver logos and italian flag. Should go well with the frame i Hope.

Also had the seat/toptube lug made in pink instead of polished as i think it will look better with a carbon post but still work ok if i want to do a silver build in the future.

And bought a set of hyperon on here a while back that Will likely get to go on it.

Should be nice alltho one never really knows until u see it live and adjust Accordingy ;)

  • Ha yeah. There are few cromovelatos u see in good condition. Will be one of my workbikes so i guess im in for a few tears sooner or later :/

  • Will be one of my workbikes

Holy shit!! I fully applaud this. I hope you work for deliveroo.

Not familiar with these so just had a look on the website; they look incredible. This could be amazing.

    Totally no pressure.

  • Show us your best bike, please...

  • We dont have deliveroo here. I work for a company called Joyride that we started 3 years ago or similar.

My best bike, hmm i like all my bikes but my tommasini is my favorite in total. My IF is my favorite to ride. My Chinese ti may be my best as it does everything well and sports fat tires which helps when i miss a curb here n there as im not great technically ;) + we do a lot of food deliveries now and flatbar just makes it so much easier.

Cant pick but If someone held a gun to my head i would keep the tomassini i think ? and just walk during the winters..

  • Get that Battaglin in the big dog and I might take it a bit more seriously.

  • hahah yeah. To each there own but the thing i like about steel bikes is the slender and agile looks. Always thinks it gets kinda lost on the massive oversized tubes of late and those headtube lugs look out of place for me but then again im older now and from my comment i guess im turning into a retrogrouch as well .) Im using all my powers to refrain from commenting on discs.

  • You'll do well to beat the tommasini.

  • Strong collection! Tbh, I was a little underwhelmed by the quality of the modern battaglins I've seen so far. The masking between the chrome and paint was rather sloppy and the lugs weren't filed as accurately as I would expect from a frame in that price range. But maybe they were just bad apples. Hope the finish on yours is better :)

  • Cheers the tomassini is easy on the eyes for me to.

I actually havent looked at the battaglin much yet. Yeah sound crazy i realize that but if i take it out and start playing with it all of a sudden it will be half built with 2 months left before i can ride it .) Dident see anything of the bat that made me feel dissapointed tho so hopefully no nasty surprises when i have a closer look.

  • Fingers crossed :) Tbf, they're a great company to deal with so in case there are any flaws, you're in good hands.

  • Yeah has been my experience as well. Was bit chocked when alex called me from italy after expressing interest on their website only an hour later or so.

  • Sounds like a perfect spec 👌🏻

  • This Tommasini is everything I want in a bike. Ok, maybe not everything but aesthetically it's bang on. And do you really use these for doing food deliveries?!

  • Your Tommasini is super nice!
What is the ID of your handlebar here please?

  • Had this one before? Got to love Powerbar botles.
