I wouldn't hesitate.

I've got the pro but I think the Air would be more than you'd need. Same processor...

That's what I thought. The lack of fan and touch bar appeals too. Lack of ports less so.

The only thing is once you add 16GB RAM to seem to be tied to the RRP and it gets a bit more than I was originally thinking.

I’ve only got the standard configuration (no additional ram) and you really don’t need any more.
