s=d/t if d=0 then s is zero. So if fun is fast, that explains why stationary training isn’t fun.

Lovely, not sure about that seat clamp though. Maybe it's just painted white 🤷🏽♂️

Agreed. Rode them for 2 hours and swapped back to my old 42cm bars. Stupid bars.

I've gone from 46 to 42 on my (not quite*) CX bikes. Feels fast and fun.
If I want slow and fun I have 750 and 780 on my MTBs. Needz moar white tho.
Different strokes for different folks I guess but arguing about it is more fun
*currently have 2 bottle cages and artisan lufgus tool rolls

Wide drops are better if you have to hang a bag on them, that's simply a fact. Some normal un-flared bars are literally unusable (you can't brake) with certain bags.
Otherwise, different people are going to find different things comfortable, and some people seem to care about being aero and some people don't, so ride whatever you like surely

In my experience flat bar hydraulic brakes almost always direct the hoses into the "maximal crushing" zone when used with a bag, resulting in horrible 90° bends at the lever end and turning the hoses into a load-bearing structural element

what i'm hearing is hydraulic brakes are bad?
-
• #16596
I'm hearing that sometimes you have to use a bar bag

Can I just say, this is the gravel thread and not the bikepacking thread

You can't fix hydros in the wilderness of UK bridleways.
Klampers all the way.

Yeah but compression-less housing is even more rigid than hydraulic lines!
Alright PhilDAS
