    Thanks @TotalShanner - it's one of those where I won't be sorry at all if it doesn't sell, it's genuinely the best car I've ever owned, but I have a nagging feeling it's not going to get used very much and I don't want to have to think about having to use it.

    I now drive a car made by the other well known german manufacturer. Nothing lifts the spirits quite like your car suddenly saying DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION MAXIMUM OUTPUT NOT AVAILABLE
    Then having to drive home unable to get over 15mph knowing theres a minimum 4k repair bill coming

    Would really love to get rid of the car and get an old Volvo 740 estate :)

  • Good choice!
    I had an old V70 before the Golf. A good sized tree fell onto the front of it in the night and it reversed out from underneath with barely a scratch. Bloody indestructable thing.
