We don’t see that many ideals tbh, I wouldn’t fit them personally but everyone’s got there preferences. We fit baxi and associated brands, boilers are good, easy to work on and baxis aftercare is decent. Most over rated and a pain to work on are Worcesters. Premium prices for a sub standard product imo.
Some people will have a boiler and never do anything to it, others will have issues. The manufacturers have gave themselves a noose to hang there selves with now though as they all have massive warranty’s and they all have get out of jails and sometimes it depends on the engineer that you get if it’s fixed under warranty or not.
It’s gonna be a mine field in a couple years that’s for sure.

Just managed to get someone to short our Ideal after 3 days without hot water. Please tell me they are surprisingly good for the price 🙏😅
