And for the record...every single penny that was donated to my gofundme was spent on Black Rainbow Project.

Love your bag, ignore him/her and keep doing what you do.
-
• #429
That's all I'm trying to do.
-
• #430
You're a legend, put them on ignore, and here's a virtual fist bump.
-
• #431
You dont need to explain yourself, I cant wait till your back making bags and I can afford one.
Dont let folk drag you, just keep doing what your doing and eventually you'll get there.
-
• #432
Hardly seems worth it as they set up an entire account just to make that post.
-
• #433
Ugh, how sad is that.
-
• #434
Keep going Scott. You'll get there.
Do you know how much remaining you need to get it up and running?

Donated ๐

What a pathetic post... keep doing what you do scott, no need to justify anything.

Hi dude
I dont know how the design / manufacturing process works
But you are primarily known and respected for some of the best courier bags out there I thought your past designs were spot on and I sure a limited number would fly out
Is it problematic to produce a small quantity I dont know say a dozen
Wouldn't it get you rolling
The bags have to be where the dollar is !The world needs your bags !!

Heads up mate. Folk can be twats and you're better than that. Your approach to life and products do the talking. If you ever need money then I've always got some sitting aside for one of your backpacks ;) Take care and safe cycles. T

Despite everything going wrong this year, from losing my main job and seeing my income drop by two thirds, to losing my relationship and seeing my mental state drop by two thirds, and having to sell so many things, from music equipment, to bikes, just to pay the rent and not lose the first flat I was able to fit a workshop in for the last five years, I actually feel like I've clawed something back from 2020!
I've managed to sort out all the sewing machines I needed and actually get them working like I wanted, I only have one more fabric left to order, I'm now on my third machinist (utter ballache) in an effort to get my custom made hardware sorted, and I'm still moving forward on the new designs. Black Rainbow Project is now officially an 'LTD', and I have even registered for VAT!
I'm still way further behind than i hoped I would be at this point of the year (pre covid), but given everything that's happened I'm also further forward than I realistically thought I would be once covid hit, so I can live with that.
Most importantly I haven't given up and I'm still motivated to get the new designs finished...so watch this space!...Or maybe just check on it now and then! ๐

Hows progress scott?
-
• #448
Thanks for checking in on me. :)
Due to still not being back to my full hours, so not having much in the way of 'spare' money it's slower than I'd like.
But...the progress I am making I'm really happy with. I'm still missing one fabric because it's out of stock at the manufacturers, so I have to wait for them to do another run.
The biggest thing at the moment is the custom hardware, and thanks to working with an awesome CAD guy now it's going really well. The pieces are all coming together and looking exactly how I designed them.
I can't wait to get all the parts together and finally build them into a complete bag so I can make sure everything works exactly as planned.
It's all still a way off thanks to losing so much time last year, but I'm very happy with how everything is looking.
I'm also managing to stay positive and motivated, and have been putting as much time into BRP as possible at weekends, which is the only time I have really.
I have high hopes for the new products. :) -

Do we get a teaser on what bags they will be?
