^ my wife loved it’s a sin, it really touched her
^^ I agree, Serpent was excellent but drugged way too much at the end.

It starts making a bit more sense in E03.
And starts getting a little darker too...for some reason my "purchaser" wouldnt grab eps 1 & 2 as they'd likely been dmca'd to hell by the time i added the show.
having only seen eps 3 & 4 and looking at the "previously" recaps it feels like i missed absolutely nothing and minus the tiny little bit of story overlap at the end of ep 3 going into 4 even episode 3 was mostly weird setup for the premise and the "show" within the show is just poorly made entertainment if there's no backstory to it.
feels like they could have just squashed all that into the first episode and caught the audiences attention much better with the big reveal in the second episode.
of course if they did that I'd not have a clue what was going on now, heh

Yeah, it was a long set up to be honest.
Still, not got much else to do at the moment really. 😏

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which is slated for release on May 7, 2021.
Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as the good doctor, with Scott Derrickson returning to direct. Feige also revealed that Scarlet Witch would appear in the series with the arc explored in “WandaVision” being reflected in the film.Grieving Wanda feckin up reality is just opening for new story arc past end game
But I agree 30 minutes episodes is unsatisfying. I blame Disney. Worked well for mandalorian, loads of action and all that but not for Wandavision -

Don’t know how I missed 12 series of Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown” arriving on Netflix

It's finally getting going, I think longer episodes with all the throwback retro weirdness as the first part of a two episode starter would have us where we are now without seeming quite as drawn out. First three episodes were kind of fun but can see why people would find them a bit annoying, especially if they don't care for old American TV.

Is this Wanda Vision?
It's on disney so it's not going to be super weird and dark right? -

If your kids could cope with the 'blip' they'll be fine.
They just won't get some of the references.
-
• #6539
Yeah, it's definitely weird but not too dark so far.

Grand. They're big fans of Dragon Prince, His Dark Materials. And My Little Pony.

It's like none of them all rolled into one.

I watched the Myanamar episode where they had only just come out of government surpression and then turned on the news to see the coup :(

Just finished it. Yeah, really enjoyed it. Thought it was well balanced between fun and feels.

I finally got over the first two episode-hump and it's gathering speed in an interesting way at last.

WandaVision, watched them and was a bit "not quite sure what's happening" never seen any of the Marvel stuff previously.
Watched some guides on youtube and tried again, with their help. I'm really quite taken with it now, although still a little puzzled.
How many many time do folk watch it to catch all the nuances? ie:- The last scene in E4, Visions eyes looking above the TV straight in to the camera lens. -

Is there a webpage that tells you (without spoilers) whether a TV series has a proper ending or if it's basically hoping to be picked up for a second season?
-
• #6548
Do it. I watched hours of a subtitled German TV drama on C4 which ended on a cliffhanger... only to find out they'd not made the second series.

thetvdb.com gives an overview of shows, including a status - ended or continuing
Not sure how up-to-date the data is kept but it might be handy.
The Serpent on iPlayer is 'decent but would have been really good if they'd condensed it into 4-6 episodes rather than the 8 or 10 they did'
