I think that's the right choice - should be able to replace the triple monitor setup.

That's the hope.

Next question is: Do I stick with the stand or get a heavy duty arm to hold it, always been a fan of having monitors on arms before, as prefer the tidier look.

This one seems to be rated to 15kg, monitor is 11.6kg without the stand.
