  • That’s my point. Banning supertuck is like banning trying to win.

    I do support banning it in a group, I guess. But descending alone, it’s your risk to take in exchange for speed.

  • You can't ban something in a group but not on your own. How do you define a group? Also it could provide an advantage to chasers.

    I thought the jury was out on whether it is an advantage anyway.

  • Theoretically supertuck should reduce the drag force and increase terminal velocity, which would have a significant advantage for a tall rider; less so for a small rider. Puppy paws is an advantage if you can produce the same power draped as you can in the drops, which not everyone can due to the impingement of the hip and, to some extent, diaphragm.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if dropper posts came into the peloton following this ruling.
