Restrap Commuter backpacker

I think I'd be a lot more likely to go for it if you washed it first, so I could see what it looked like after. Does washing affect the waterproofing?
Am also slightly concerned that I barely leave the house these days, which makes buying a big backpack slightly unnecessary. But hopefully that'll change sooner or later.
