  • supposedly there were 600 in total and none oversold (eddie just posted on the forum)

  • 200k in 5mins. Not bad.

That's reddit levels of profit. 😎

  • I got lucky, again through lots of refresh action... got a gilt version.
I really couldn’t decide between that and the standard dial. If I’m not sure when it’s in hand, I’d be happy to swap for a standard dial, if new, or sell at purchase price (not wanting a profit).

  • When you get your gilt dials, post pictures - if you want to flip I might yet be convinced...

  • For anyone that missed out, Seiko has you covered:

    :)

  • Gilty Pleasures

  • Mmmmm.....Homogulation.

    Diagrid. Tick.

    Aching Patina. Tick.

    Gilt Hands. Tick.

    Man size. Tick.

    Rare release copy. Tick.

    Facial hair + tattoo req.

    Max hipster points.

  • Gosh, the sum of the parts makes for an interesting piece...

    Ludicrous crown is ludicrous

  • Man size. Tick.

    Hulk: Look at my wrist

  • It is a crown of girth.

Like the spare parts bin was dry.

  • Wha about a rare Sub hom blessed with the cherry blossom of mount Fuji?...

  • For something that describes itself as experimental, I feel they might have experimented with the sub homage formula just a little more.

  • Officially certificated.

  • Light glints on yellowed lume
The exuberance of invention trapped by the bounds of homage
    Time passes

  • 10ATM is pretty adventurous for a diver.

  • Anybody has/had a Sinn 103 St? The older one with non screw down pushers and acrylic (?) crystal.
    I like it.

  • If anyone is after something entry level quality swiss , we have just put a load of discontinued NOS Tissot on our website at 25% off

  • Any of you chaps send watches with Royal Mail signed for? If so, how many days past due does it have to be before you ask for your money back? One was due Friday, the other Saturday so they're not late-late, but with zero tracking data available I'm feeling a bit adrift.

  • I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're only able to claim for lost/damaged watches/jewellery if sent via Special Delivery

    https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/91/kw/watches

  • New watch day!

    Well... Hope you get it!

  • Royal mail is shit at the best of times.

Plus a week at mo prob.

  • Signed for is only up to £50 compensation I’m afraid.
And I think it’s 2 weeks or so before they can be assumed missing.
We have a pandemic though, give it a few more days mate.

  • royalmail lost a brooks saddle I sold on eBay and I used the Signed for service - they investigated and sent me 4 stamps as compensation!

  • Were you able to prove the value? Was it within the £50? There’s something with the value rules that if you’re sending anything worth over £50, you should use Special Delivery. Because if something gets lost and it’s in fact worth more than £50 and posted Signed For the insurance is void. Same as if you’d send item worth £3k through Special Delivery (which only insures up to £2.5k) and it goes missing, you get nothing because the insurance is void. Hope this makes sense.

I never had a problem with claims and the cheque usually comes within a couple of weeks.
