Yeah, that's pretty much me - got the turbo to try and keep some fitness over the winter, be interesting to see how I get on once I venture out again... every year I look at the Rapha festive 500 inspirational photos of beautiful crisp winter days then I open the front door & it's -5 with horizontal 20mph sleet & I sit in the house and eat cheese instead.
Septemberish I stopped riding as much and from end October to early Jan I only did a handful of rides outdoors. I've started training again and after about 4 weeks I "feel" like I'm sort of where I was in October before I went from lazy to "bloke who has some bikes in the garage he never rides". I think another month and I'll have a decent base level of fitness and endurance again.
