You may well be right. I guess I'm looking at last year (i.e. we didn't hit our peak till March/April, but still ended up with life almost opening up over late summer, we had crowds in grounds briefly etc) and thinking we've peaked much earlier + vaccine suggests hopefully we'll be able to open up earlier but new variants and efficacy of vaccine means who knows!

I almost think small crowds are more likely than an end to player bubbles.
The risk of it getting into the squad, and then running through them will be same this summer as it was last summer, unless sports teams get bumped up the priority list of vaccines, which I hope doesn't happen!
Not sure what happens when a member of the crowd catches the ball in the stands and throws the ball back into the bubble :/
I dunno. I can't see how we are going to get on top of the widespread circulation. The vaccine will hopefully get deaths down, but there will still be widespread community transmission by early summer if most have not been vaccinated.
I'm mid 30's - We might be vaccinating my age group in the summer? Also - covid variants. Today's front pages scare me. We've got loads of doses of a vaccine that doesn't work on a strain we appear to have allowed in and has begun community transmission. Remember last February? Anyway - covid thread>>>>
