The Extralite Hyperstem look super cool and it's super light but i read a lot of time that it crick a lot and it tend to move up on the steerer and give problem with the headset. there is a reason you want to use it?
That sounds like a weird problem that could be solved with carbon paste, properly torqued headset or use of a wrong steerer bung.
Would use the Hyperstem because of it's weight and one of the few options in 12° stems.
