I had great experience of VO Grand Cru vs TRP; TRP were limiting, Grand Cru free'd up 4+mm.

It's a frame issue, rather than brake I think but....can anyone recommend caliper brakes with a high arch for mudguard clearance.
I've only got 25c tyres with 30mm PDW's and I've barely and room with condor deep drops (the frame doesn't actually need a deep drop brake).
Easiest thing might be switching back to blumels which weirdly worked better despite being bigger than the PDWs.
