It does not fee like it is going to be the packers day. Tampa defense is good..

That final play of the half - staring over your shoulder, letting the man run past you rather than following him.
Now a loose ball and a turnover with the first play.
It’s not our night.

3 score game with what we’ve seen so far... might as well go to bed
-
• #755
If I was Tom Brady I would still be throwing at Kevin King and not at Jaire Alexander. D
That said the deep ball has really fallen off as this game has gone on...
-
• #756
Zero holding calls so far. Joke.
-
• #757
Two teams doing their best to throw the game away
-
• #758
So many missed chances.
At least three no conversions on x & goal.
-
• #759
Should have gone for it on 4th down rather than kicking the field goal.
Think Rodgers will be kicking himself for not trying to run it himself on that third down play.. -
• #760
my head hurts... don't think Rodgers would have expected the FG to be on the table..
-
• #761
Fuck.
So many mistakes today. Baffling on 4th down.

Chiefs defense does enough to make good offenses struggle. Allen looked flustered and harried all game long. The pressure applied by the chiefs offense and trying to keep up with it allows their defense to turn the screw constantly, even if they occasionally give up big plays..
Wonder how Allen and McDermott will recover after this setback? Lots of articles talking about how the future is bright, foundational players on long term deals and all that, but they could be in a straight fight for divisional supremacy against the dolphins, so not sure they should be thinking that they’ll automatically be getting back to this stage next season.Think the chiefs defense will give Brady a hard time, he’s not as mobile (obviously) as Allen and there were a couple of plays that Allen made with his legs to extend drives that Brady can’t, which I think may be the deciding factor.
But hey I thought the packers would beat the bucs so what do I know..
Looking forward to a little rest before the Super Bowl..

Think the chiefs defense will give Brady a hard time,
I think one thing that has been true all through the playoffs against some high calibre defensive fronts - WAS, NO as well as last night was that Tampa managed to find time for Brady to sit in the pocket and pick his throws. Buffalo's gameplan is predicated less upon staying in the pocket, because of Allen's ability to extend plays. TB12 is already capable of getting the ball out as quickly as anybody if he needs to, and when he has time in the pocket he is just too talented to stop. Chiefs should be able to give him a hard time, but so should have a lot of other teams that Tampa have played against in the playoffs. The Chiefs have some good exotic blitz packages, but TB12 is also the best to ever do it. And has 2 weeks to prepare.
I think the most important thing for the Bucs in keeping up will be eliminating the drops which have plagued Godwin and the RBs though the playoffs, in order to extend a few more drives, and take away a few more opportunities for KC to possess the ball.
Exciting...

Anyone watching?
I'm gonna go with the Chiefs for absolutely no specific reason
-
• #765
I’m going Tampa because KC is in Missouri and prolly supported by a bunch of racists. Tampa, on the other hand, is in Florida.
-
• #766
gasp! how can you possibly say the chiefs are racist!
-
• #767
Statistically the team in white has the best chance. But the team in red has Homie
-
• #768
I'd kind of like Tampa to win if Brady wasn't the quarterback, but with Tom there I can't support them. So Kansas City. But after the first quarter, I've got a sinking feeling. Waiting for Mahomes to leave an imprint on this game, 2-8 passing so far, for about 9 yds
-
• #769
Hold that thought Kansas just holds TB out of the endzone on 4th and 1.
Damn! -
• #770
These penalties! they've basically handed them the win at this point by giving them all these extra chances.
-
• #771
they've
.....quite.
-
• #772
to clarify I mean KC. they're playing a shocker.
-
• #773
Slips, drops, shanked punts, incompletes pens. Not the chiefs I was staying up for.
-
• #774
Poor Mahomes, zero protection all night, it’s like watching a repeat of Joe Burrow earlier in the season.
-
• #775
Watching him running backwards, spiralling while evaluating non existent plays on a broken toe was heartbreaking. The rest of his squad lost their heads and he stayed focused right up to the last play.
Brady converting on 3rd down is killing us.
