Excellent accurate analysis

He's a young man in professional sport aware that everything he says ever will be over analysed, interviewed by someone who is projecting a "hey this is gonna just be chill, but also you don't know how I'm going to mildly mock you"
Also. He answered about climate change while wearing Ineos kit. -

Maybe he should have a coffee

I find Matt Stephens quite annoying as well tbh. He can’t wait to talk - just let your guest speak. And having his podcast quests guess what crisps are what sound is awful even for a podcast

Strava shows he did it on 18th Dec.
It was in Leeds, maybe he was paced by a Brownlee.

Or maybe he was following my brother in laws dog who trains in the same area as R Tom. Clay once did a 12 min loop of our 5km with me on my bike struggling to keep up

I'd a bit stupid to not even look up record and think, hmm maybe this gps isnt accurate.
Mayve going for the any publicity is good publicity school of thought. -

were you expecting gore vidal? he's 21 and spend a good quarter of his life being mainly good at riding a bike very fast.
would any of us here, interviewed at 21, not have come across as a muppet, boring, or both?

Can he swim?

Do you ever have anything positive to say? All your contributions to this thread are snide comments about riders, mainly Ineos ones. We get you don’t like the team, but why do you follow pro cycling if it pisses you off so much?

I really don't think "cringe" & "muppet" are really very close to the bottom of the barrel for this forum. I've got no beef with Ineos and I'm not sure where you might get that idea from. You seem to be a fan of snide comments too.

'I don't think the technology is quite where it needs to be'
ie on mountain bikes

Anyone worked out how long his running route actually was? GPS must have added at least 0.5km...

Someone in the Strava comments:
According to google maps (if you ran 5 rounds around the block) you ran 7.24K and not 9.34 in total
It's all a bit silly. It's even frontpage on the sporza site. https://sporza.be/nl/2021/02/08/twijfel-over-fenomenale-looptijd-van-pidcock-hij-zit-er-zelf-ook-wat-mee-verveeld~1612780322943/
It clearly is some gps error. It's ok to make a mistake and post it online but why not delete it before it gets so much attention. -

Steve Cummings has joined Ineos as a Sports Director with responsibilities for rider development.

Cheers, now crying

Someone must have that picture of Cummings glancing skywards as more snow falls on him in an early season race.

That’s his personal YouTube channel. I doubt ISN or Factor would have allowed that out.
I hope he continues to give unfiltered opinions like this. Much better than the usual discVrim shit show. Decent points.
Poor lad’s only got ~4k subs. Give him some love.

You really don't have to @reply me. I'm here all week.
He is clearly a top class muppet, and boring as all hell to boot - loves Fortnight though. Cringe.
