They make you feel like you're working down a mine in the 1890s when you're slaving over a hot help desk... I got to the point where I would cut the cinch off my 1933s or 201s, they just got in the way...
However, I only cut them when I saw old photos of OG cinch-back owners who had done exactly the same thing... Then I went back to work tirelessly pushing pixels around a computer screen...

I don’t get cinches. If your jeans are so loose that you need to use a cinch, you end up with a baggy arse. If your jeans fit properly, you don’t need one.
