The edit looks right. I'll be using pike ultimate with the new air spring or a rigid 500mm A-C fork with a spacer crown race, the one made by Niner for Jet9.

I wear clear glasses whilst riding at the moment due to the water/mud- but they steam up a lot. Are there glasses that people use which resist this better?

No idea if it would work but...

I don't understand how people wear glasses in the rain and mud, lenses get covered and you can't see shit.

fuck you and your 20/20 vision

I have 20/20 vision but can't understand anyone who rides without eye coverings of some sort. Fuck getting grit/mud/dust/branches in your eyes....
Have had some success with RainX stuff on my TT helmet visors

Slightly mucky lenses= slightly harder than normal to see.
Mud in eye= you have to stop as a) you can't see and b) it's really painful.

I do have goggles but I only wear them with the full face, and I’m not doing that sort of riding at the moment

Wash your glasses with washing up liquid.
I'll let you keep that one.

Spitting on them also works. It's what scuba divers do.
I'm now expecting to see a 28/52 lowest gear on this
