Dean had been an utter prick towards West Ham for nearly 2 decades!
Was watching the game and as soon as I saw Dean’s hand go to his ear I knew he would make a shambolic decision.
The same mane robbed us of 2 points 18 year ago that sent us down.
“In a season that is starving West Ham of hope they could take no more than a grievance from Highbury. Absurdly, in view of the fact they had lost Steve Lomas to a red card in the 14th minute, there was no rout and the match turned on the murky deeds with which Dennis Bergkamp helped Arsenal to break the deadlock with 19 minutes to go just when a 1-1 draw was feasible.
Highbury fans will relish the highlights, but the FA’s video advisory panel could be more discerning viewers. Dennis Bergkamp, turning on the left wing, swung out a forearm to fend off an anticipated challenge and hit Lee Bowyer in the face. The contact seemed intentional, but the referee Mike Dean let play continue and the Dutchman capitalised. Thierry Henry converted his cross for the second element of a hat-trick, scoring with a header for the first time in the Premiership.
“I think everyone in the ground, barring the most important person, saw Bergkamp clearly puts his hand in Bowyer’s face and pushes him to the ground,” said Glenn Roeder, the West Ham manager. “I have been to see referees twice this season and this was the second occasion. My gut feeling is that he knows he got this one wrong.”

Anyone who smashes Lee Bowyer in the face deserves praise, not a red card.

However the game was a poor one from West Ham with them allowing Fulham to boss midfield and making poor use of set pieces, of which they’ve been clinical this season

Remind me who you support Andy

Not that I’m a fan of Bowyer mind
Also Soucek is the plat opposite of Bowyer, considering he’s a midfield enforcer, I’ve never seen any snide challenge or him leave a foot in.

Things I liked in the United game.
Lots of stuff. But James goal was nice. -

James is such a good player. The touch tp set it up he made it look so easy. I love how he looks to celebrate with the player who set him up.

Hups ein Gänseblümchen
the usual reliable allison had a bad day, i think we were in it up till that point
time to bring in a few of the new signings and give them a try out, see if they can't inject some new life into the team, we could almost put out a whole new defence in the next game

Sky using the headline Allisson Blunderland. Strong work.

Cracking game and result. Allisson narrowly edging out Phil Foden for the MOTM award.
Title race all but over I think. Though United are nearly joint top. -

Almost like no other team has played football in the last 3 seasons so they’re all taking advantage of tired little Liverpool at Fortress Anfield.

Mitrovic has to take some responsibility - not for going down, but for staying down, then getting up without a mark on his face
