Gotcha gotcha gotcha. Thanks. Speaking about Hinoya specifically, the website is very, very useable. I think after global rakuten shut down they were like oh shit we are about to lose a huge chunk of our revenue let's translate our site to english pronto.
This does mean that 34+ is often sold out immediately in jeans, though.
@dancing james well shucks. Thanks.
@Tenderloin v kind. Tbh, with FedEx shipping only bring $20, I'm not too fussed. I've paid that much for shipping in the US before!
@markyboy cinches are really great IMO. I hate wearing a belt. If a pair of jeans, after stretching, are slightly too loose - and I mean like 0.5 inches too lose, the cinch takes up the slack. They only have about an inch of tightening capability so it's not like people wearing are wearing a 36 with a cinch when they should be in a 32.
They're also a historical touch that are mostly found on pre-WWII models.
The only pair of 'modern' jeans I can think of that have a cinch are Edwin SENs. And I agree that on there they make no sense as they are skinny jeans.
