  • Wow that's bright.

    Love it!

  • I was so close to just wrighting it off and giving it away if someone else was prepared to deal with the cost and hassle of getting if refurbished after my mega quote from Tag. I figured it had no value not working and would only be worth roughly half the £680 Tag quoted me to fix it up. I'm so glad i took the time to make some phone calls on this one. It does have a tiny bit of sentimental value to me as i treated myself to this with my first grown up paycheck after finishing my apprenticeship 20 years ago.

  • Photos really doesn’t do it justice!

  • Any better?

  • Remind me I need to get a new bat for this.

I wonder if I can get down Timpsons. 😎

  • I am glad too, hope you enjoy it for a long time!

  • It’s very much an acquire taste, but awesome nonetheless!

  • Damn this thing pops in the sun.

  • <3 so good

  • Can't seemed to order a Smiths Everest for some reason after it open at 2pm today.

edit; sold out already at 2.07pm, frustratingly there was no "add to basket" option the entire time when it was avaliable.

  • I decided, as I've already got the v1 36mm, I'd save my pennies and see what the gilt dials look like in the real world, but looks like they all sold out in the time the shop was open - wonder how many Eddie had made?

  • I think it literally sold out less than a minutes, there was no option to check out whatsoever.

  • This is available on the forum if anyone wants one. Used of course, the guy wants £270 but would probably sell for £250 posted. 40mm version 2nd generation with sapphire.

  • i managed to get a standard black dial one - will see if it turns up though! in the spirit of eddie i will offer it up on here for cost price if it isn't to my taste

  • I was lucky to get a gilt one (got a confirmation email so hopefully done deal). In the same spirit I'll offer it here in case it doesn't suit.

  • 38, 39, 41. Beaters.

Anything less than 39 is just too puny. imo.

    Puny wrists

  • How did you managed? there was no way to purchase when I checked, but then again I was 2 minutes late once it open at 2pm.

  • Heh.

But it does look too small for a 20mm nato even. :0

  • I was 2 minutes late

You should get yourself a watch.

  • Sounds like trying to buy Dunk SBs on SNKRS

  • I noticed the same as you, no add to basket, but noticed that it appeared for a split second before the not available message. So I hovered over the button, reloaded the page and immediately clicked.

  • Likewise I kept refreshing and clicked as soon as it appeared. I think all models sold out within 3 mins. My order confirmation was 14.02 and it was an order number above 1,200... Hopefully this means I've actually got one, but we will see as I get the impression from posts here and elsewhere that this isn't always the case...
