Thanks, we’ve still got a lot to do, rebuild the fences, the lawn is shot to pieces, and I need to repair a fair bit of the deck.
But it is a very nice place to work.

If you’re in Bath you could try
Abbey (in Bristol) they’re cheap enough and will work to your drawings.
They’re mostly into kitchens but I’ve had them do all sorts over the years

Been down a lounge chair rabbit hole for a while now. Thinking about ordering a leather ox chair knock off straight from the factory in China - tell me it’s a bad idea

get an old DeSede lounge chair, could find something nice for less than a Chinese copy and it won't be a Chinese copy

It’s very run down, but also very magical.
We’re going to re plant come spring- lots of dead trees.
Trellice area will hopefully have garden studio- waiting on planning etc

Just hit up ebay, I’ve got a De Sede DS11 sofa and a ds57 chair, both from eBay and reasonably priced.

There was a De Sede arm chair not too dissimilar to the ox chair for sale in Bexhill for months at around £350.

Also check out dealers on Instagram. There’s not much about but it is out there and it’s not on a lot of people’s radar.

The lounge chair hunting is becoming exhausting. Think I might now be going for a G plan 62 (Bond villan chair). But cannot see any EU stockists and I am hesitant to order from a UK retailer after Brexit.

RRP £350 - it's got a couple of small marks but is a quality piece of furniture.

Edit: on further investigation one leg is very slightly wobbly and could do with some investigation, pretty easy fix though.

I also tried to buy some drawers for the kids rooms. Lost my mind and thought buying something from B&Q for £100 was not the worst idea in the world. I was wrong. Absolutely terrible. Just total shit. Made for the bin. Sending it back.

The Hemnes stuff from IKEA is fair quality for the cost. Best price to quality drawers I’ve found.
