Scotland excellent and outrageous that England were somehow still in the game with a minute left
The conditions towards the end of the game were atrocious meaning that when you'd expect Scotland to start flinging it wide and stretching their legs it wasn't on so they were reduced to pick and go in the tight channels which was where England were strongest.

yes, was doing the boys' tea so couldn't clearly see the conditions although it was alluded to on commentary. I mean, for all Slade and Lawrence have to seize the moment, they had next to no ball at all and my god the box kicking was repeatedly poor. In saying that, the forwards struggled to get on the front foot and 'win the collisions' (largely down to Scotland) so we didn't have a great deal of quality ball and every time they strung a few relatively slick phases together it was like they were petrified that the positions had suddenly gone a bit 'organic' and 'loose' and reverted to type by sticking it in behind. Weird lack of confidence

England absolutely atrocious.
kick, kick, kick kick, all aimlessly. Bring on Ford to, erm, kick. must have been over 20 pens against, some completely brainless and why when we were a man up did we kick long for 10 minutes thus eating up the sin bin clock and missing the opportunity to exhaust the Scots by making them defend defend defend a man down for 10 mins. Given Redpath had been in England training squads last year (I think) having played for England U-2os, Townsend played a blinder in tying him up at the very earliest opportunity
Honestly, pathetic
