  • Without going back through the 30 pages of this thread, could you help kit me out for some winter rides please?

I've got some dhb thermal bib tights and I've got some gore gloves cold-ish road rides... Point me in the direction of some sensibly priced kit please!

Bit sick of the turbo, just got a cross bike and I want to go outside and get muddy!
    But it's cold...

  • DHB / Decathlon .

  • Aldi for cheaps too

  • The galibier kit I just got is all pretty nice so far, and well-priced. Would say it might be worth getting a good top layer that will do you for most winter rides, whether dry or wet. Sportful have a good range (fiandre stuff) so can get something that suits you if you run hot or cold. You can usually get some good deals on their stuff too.

  • Use your old kit. Don't buy new kit to trash riding cross in the winter.

  • I don’t know it fits your budget, but I really rate gore windstopper.
The Gore c3 range is very good value for money and keeps you warm.
