  • Apart from the interesting choice of bars, this is lovely. Frame size?

  • I tried all sorts of bars on it. Settled on these instead of getting moustache.

Frame is 55cm across the top

  • If hub is fixed I’m very tempted but no dibs yet as I‘ve got too many bikes and would need to sell my current fixed gear at least. May come back to you if it doesn’t sell. Price seems fair.

  • Rear hub is fixed fixed. Currently running 42*17

  • Delicious

  • Any info on weight/how this rides?

  • Sorry delay. Weight I will have to check on Saturday. In terms of ride. It's super comfortable. The rake on the forks make it a proper cruiser.

  • Popped by and checked this out in the flesh on Saturday

Pictures really don't do it justice

    GLWS mate

  • What are the bars?

  • They are a pair of sweep back bar that I have turned upside down. I wanted to test the weather before I invested in a pair of nice moustache bars. I realise that they will need changing

  • I think I'm gonna split the bike up:

    Frame and forks - £250 +pp
    Brooks saddle (hardly used) - £60 +pp
Tektro long drop brakes - sold
    Tektro levers - sold

  • Wheels are 27 or 700? Cheers

  • Wheels are 700c

  • I'm gonna break this bike down tomorrow. The frame, saddle and mudguards will be up for sale if anyone is interested.

  • Frame has now been broken down for sale. Comes with new headset and 107mm sunrace bottom bracket. Weight is 2.95kg for the frame, forks, headset and BB.

Top tube is 55cm. Seat tube 56.5cm, head tube 13.5cm. Seatpost is 27.2mm.

    Asking £250+ Hermes postage

  • Have a bump. Lovely frame and a good price

  • I'd love to see this frame go on and be rebuilt as original. It had been my intention as it rode so beautifully and comfortably. It's never gonna be an alley cat machine, but it's a head turner for sure

  • Lack of bottle cage mounts is a shame but love the pump pegs.

  • 1950's did not have them - easy and cheap to fix, see here

    or these

  • Hm. So tempted by this frame. It’s a beauty.

  • I've run it with a saddle mounted bottle cage and a handlebar mounted one to save from damaging the frame at all

  • If you are really keen. I'll sell it with p+p included? Does that sweeten the deal at all?

  • do it, it is stunning
