  • ha. thanks for the mention dude.

got a lot of love for johnnettles DS myself. such a beauty.

there are quite a few nice cars on here though.

  • three great spots there dude. i have a lot of love for the Delta and the old DS.

that 127 is special though I prefer the later shape.

i don't much care for the old 500. my little green car is a 126. will resist urge to throw in a picture.

  • Careful as it maybe pads and discs :( Normal VW used to have pagid as OE suppliers, no idea who they have now.

  • though was admiring this on a little walk the other day

  • Stolen pic from face book but what an odd v6 ;)

  • I think that's an early 70s C-10. Looks great!

  • cheers dude. I could kinda date by the styling and of course the UK plates. It wasn't alone

  • I've always loved this incredible BMW 850 some Russian chap had rebodied as a Volga inspired coupé.

  • Now that looks cool.

    EDIT: Volga are cool.

  • More details here.

It's one of the few coachbuild/ rebodies of what was already a nice car I've ever seen that's an actual improvement!

  • Nice truck, funnily enough my spots today were also old American behemoths. I do love the styling of these old barges, and double bench seats are win, seat 6 or 7 easily but the Caddy look big enough to have a party in. Cue the jaws music, shark fins in Earlsfield, iconic 1960 Cadillac.

And I came across this 1973 Lincoln Continental giving off full Huggy Bear Brown pimp vibes. Love the wheels and the oval rear side window, which apparently is called an 'opera window'.

Looks like a major challenge of finding a parking space before you run out of petrol, the Cadillac is 6.4 litre and the Lincoln is 7.5 litre.

And now for something completely different, never seen anything like this before, a VW Beetle Hotrod type thing......

  • amazing selection.

I want an opera window now. that Lincoln is special. love it.

  • Nice Volga too, definitely meaner looking than the original. I saw one for the first time last year, although this one does have a really cool prancing reindeer on the bonnet :)

  • Utterly bonkers.

  • Not sure what’s odd about it, narrow angle single head is the norm for VAG cars

  • That's a wizard rods conversion on the Beetle. Was styled on the Willys Coupe that were the iconic hot rod at the time of the conversions release.

  • Narrow angle V with odd number of cylinders is VW, even number is Lancia.

Odd, to me is chosing a close angle v engine, so you need so many unique parts.

  • Thanks for the clarification.

  • Because I alway imagine your speaking voice to be the same as the boat cat's, I love it when you post like this.

Making my day it a bit strong, but it definitely brings a smile.

  • What does the boat cat sound like?

  • Pity they never made the M8. The depreciation would have been Biblical if they had, so I imagine they'd be quite affordable by now.

I'll buy one, then have the engine, transmission and suspension rebuilt to an M8 standard.

@hugo7 put that in your cat meme.

  • I'd just get an R8 V10 instead. I quite like the idea of having two cars with V10s as my 'sensible' cars.
