    A simple shuffle of angles would make it look and probably feel much nicer!

  • Meh, I'll take that, looks wise I wasn't really thinking about what bar height/lever angle would look the best.
    As far as how it feels, I played with the spacer stack a few times and settled on that quite low position for a touring bike. Did a a few small jaunts and then a London to Bristol ride and it felt great. Main thing I didn't like was having weight of the rack and any front luggage on the steering.

    I only bought this for the nostalgia as I used to race on one years ago. If I'd decided to keep it I might well have improved the position for longer multi-day trips.

    Hmm, now that I look at the picture the levers do look a bit low. But this was the most comfortable position to sit my wrists on the bars when riding on the hoods.
