The chances would have been better if it finished in italy, which it might do anyway.

Yes, I thought it would have been a much better route if they had gone down Italy and finished in Calabria or Sicily rather than the long ferry to Greece. If they had kept it a bit further East it needn't have looked too like the 2VS.
