Alternative to a TA 314 axle

Oh that's a shame, always seems to be the same with these axles, I've got plenty and they look superb, until you look closely at the all important bearing surfaces.

As the TA cups are scarce, I’d rather use another taper with TA, might need to do that soon - can never remember whether shimano or campag is nearer. Feel like saying shimano.

Erh... No idea, I was going to ask you to be honest.
I need both, cups and axle. I was looking at campagnolo, as from what I have read up on they will fit, however i don't mind which brand as long as it suits my build, fits correctly with a good chain line and the bearings are perfect.!
