blast from the past, I remember that. you did it in desert boots didnt you?
-

I did? I guess so! Never really thought about it. I have bought the cheapest short reach Condor branded or Tektro levers out there multiple times. I always figured as it is a track bike that I'm riding fixed around the lanes it wasn't supposed to be comfortable anyway

Is that Lachlan's? I should never have sold that frame.

Yeah it's had me searching ebay again

Found a post the other day that reminded me I’ve had a set of the Campagnolo carbon levers in a box for at least 7 years meaning to put them on a bike once I’ve figured out what to do with the flappy left lever.
Maybe this summer will be the one

Take off the flappy lever.
I cut my left S500 and filled it with Sugru.

I’m not turning the worlds most aesthetically pleasing single speed levers into one of those stumpy fixie brklss hoods
Looks like it’s another year in the box

Not the best photo. but this is my winter bike at the moment. The Plan at the moment is to get it rechromed/repainted in summer and built up with some newer parts. The drilling is slightly off in the fork crown, (I think the previous owner did it himself) but hopefully it'll be fine and have more stopping power with a newer front brake/lever, and I think I'll fit a dummy lever on the other side as well as no drilling for a rear brake and I'm a bit loath to get it drilled and for cable guides etc. I've been really enjoying riding this the last few days since reducing the gearing by fitting a 44 front ring.

I can't find a decent picture of this bike at all.
My old pre cursa that I painstakingly vinyl wrapped in camo!
Did some big old rides on this thing back in the day

Is that some kind of colourful sprocket on there? Almost looks like a WI freewheel

An excellent meme account posted one of these with a jawbreaker sticker yesterday and here’s one with an AF sticker on the top tube. Approved

Honestly it was a great bike.
I may get one soon enough to replace that ghastly yellow thing

Oh no no no, that's staying.
I built a 'fixie' road frame conversion out if spare bits and a frame that wasn't being used at work. It's gross.
