What time is it? Watches and horology

Superocean for me.

I realize it might sound strange but the bezel on the Avenger makes the watch have a more "oval" look than the Superocean. Plus the lugs look nicer on the Superocean imo.

Another vote for superocean - not a huge fan of the avenger bezel. I slightly prefer the avenger dial/handset from the pics but not enough to outweigh the bezel.

More importantly, which one do you prefer and why :) Is this a potential incoming?

Thanks, it’s the nylon strap version sitting on a perlon, with the Chinese bullbar. Very black-out, could do with a black pvd buckle on the perlon too. The inverted display is way more difficult to read than a normal one but looks so cool.

I’d probably recommend buying it with the resin strap and then ebaying the adapters and a perlon or nato of your choice - the resin strap is more expensive to buy separately (if you ever wanted to swap). Depends if you like the extra-thick OEM nylon strap (I didn’t).

The date is the only thing I miss on my Seamaster 300MC.

Sure you can always take your phone out but I prefer to have it on the watch.

Yes, GS is perfect for me (although I flipped it twice already). The rest is a bonus.

If I was buying a Breitling I'd get the bottom one. If I wanted a dive watch I probably wouldn't get a Breitling one.

The black 36mm Everest is back in stock, orders are opening on Sunday at 2pm.

He's also got a gilt version which is pretty nice

and a "Commando" version with different hands which is less nice
