SOLD: Marin Gestalt 2 Gravel bike. 58cm

2017 Marin Gestalt 2 gravel bike. size 58 cm. Fits me nicely at 6ft3 but I feel it would be fine for people quite a bit smaller.

Bought it a year and a half ago to give gravel bikes a punt and have loved every ride on it. Great, great fun. I've decided to upgrade at some point but in the meantime ongoing COVID redundancy forces sale.

A good starting point for a gravel bike, as I found. As you’ll see from the photos there’s some rub on the frame from bikepacking bags, but otherwise in good nick. It does have frame protection tape on it now to stop the rub getting any worse (shutting the stable door after the horse bolted etc etc). I was running a full frame bag in it bikepacking hence the extra cages on fork leg and under down tube.

Since I bought it I’ve done about 800km on it, and done the following:

1. New tyres; Gravelking SK 35mm tan walls
   
2. New headset
   
3. New bottom bracket
   
4. New chain
   
5. New pads
   
6. Caliper service – complete strip, clean and re-grease
   
   

In all honesty it could do with full re-cabling, and the derailleur looks a bit bashed but still works perfectly. I haven't done it cos $$ is tight.

Pedals, wahoo mount and cages not included.

Possibly. You can see how far I’ve the seatpost out for me so I’m sure it would go low enough but geometry might end up a bit strange!

Was thinking much the same. Might look and feel all a bit weird - a shame, a little smaller and it’d be Bob on
