So tempting but slammed and 100mm wouldn’t be optimal on such a beauty.
Then again, imagine taking it across the cobbles....

I don’t think my prostate would thank me for it. Fair play to Canyon and the frameset, they put two riders in the top 5 that year.

A younger me at P-R, would love to go for a third time but unlikely (and sorry for the self-indulgent diversion but this frame deserves all the bumps it can get)

So that's you Ted! Glad to see another bloke my build smashing it! You have some wonderful bikes.
I got a Master Piu from you many moons ago. Stupidly sold it after a few years later (bought a Gios Torino though....which has since been moved on). Got a SuoerConfex Master a few months ago! I still have space for one more ride since I moved that MTB to your friend.

Smashing it is a kind description, in reality it was holding on for dear life (the Arenberg with cobbles as slick as a vole was absolutely terrifying).
That Super Confex is amazing!!

You are clearly discerning to spot even a faint hint although, when it was lashing down and I was still relatively fresh (and continuing to wear the Oakleys because I didn't want to scratch them, being able to see where I was going be damned), I did rather entertain fantasies that I was Belgian hardman
