(I have used the search function but my search is a bit vague).
How compatible are different discs and hub combinations ?
I have a bike with Fulcrum wheels and Sram centerlock discs and callipers.
I have some Hunt wheels (for Summer) on order.
Is it likely if I buy Sram centerlock rotors for the Hunt wheels they will just slot straight in with no brake rub?
If I use another brand of disc or use the 6 bolt to centerlock adapter will they rub?
I’d like to be able to fit (uk) gravel tyres to the Fulcrum wheels and super sexehhh lightweight tyres to the Hunt wheels this summer and have minimum buggering around swapping between wheels.
Shimano/hope etc discs are cheaper, more readily available and loaded with gimmicks that will save me kilowatts per hour.
You won't know whether they need adjustments until you try it.
Different brand of discs come in different thicknesses, hubs aren't going to be exactly the same.
You might get lucky and not have to change anything. or not.
