There is a specific seat mount for 1 1/8" thread less. This is the 22.2" quill version - so I am actually using it wrong as I removed the v-spacers. It works fine as long as you use thin headset spacers. I made a brass one, which proved too short so ended up putting a ti spacer on there. There is two bolts on the Thule bracket I tighten once the headset is preloaded

The bracket is for a Thule seat right? I was thinking of doing the same, but could't figure out if you could fit this to onto the spacers below your stem. Isn't it free to rotate that way?
