you need a towel over the handlebars and a big fan you monsters.

I have it just behind the hoods to start with then as my hands get a bit slipper I shuffle it up so my palms are on the towel but not the whole grip if that makes sense. Not the most comfortable but stops my hands sliding on the hoods and hopefully avoids the bars dissolving underneath the tape
